Etsy order arrives
Paid Etsy orders flow into Channels and land in the Dashboard Review Queue instead of being pushed blindly into Shopify.
FOURTH REIN CHANNELS
Bring Etsy orders into a review-first Shopify workflow. Match the product, catch duplicates, create the customer, approve the import, and keep fulfillment moving — without babysitting two separate back offices.
THE BRIDGE, NOT ANOTHER STOREFRONT
Channels sits between the two. Etsy remains where the marketplace sale happens. Shopify remains the operational home you already use. Channels handles the handoff with a review layer in the middle.
That means less copy-and-paste work without giving up control over product matching, customer records, duplicate decisions, pricing, or fulfillment.
HOW IT WORKS
You do not have to rebuild your business around the integration. Channels adapts to custom, stocked, and hybrid sellers.

Confirm the Shopify variant, use a remembered mapping, search Shopify, or bring the item over as a custom line when no permanent product match makes sense.
Channels looks for prior links and duplicate signals before creating another Shopify order, and surfaces possible matches for human review when it cannot prove they are the same order.
Create or reuse the Shopify customer, import the order only when you are ready, and keep fulfillment and tracking moving according to the sync mode you choose.
DUPLICATE-AWARE BY DESIGN
Orders created by Channels carry the Etsy receipt identity into Shopify so Channels can reconcile them on retries. For older orders that may have been created manually, Channels can surface likely duplicates for you to review before approving another import.
CONTROL WHERE IT MATTERS
Every order can stop at a human review step first. Nothing has to become a Shopify order until the product path is resolved and you approve it.
Once you confirm an Etsy listing or variation against a Shopify variant, Channels can recognize the same relationship next time.
Made-to-order work does not have to be forced into a permanent Shopify catalog item. Use matched variants, custom lines, or both.
Channels tags and reconciles orders it creates using the Etsy receipt ID and also warns on likely Shopify duplicates so retries and catch-up work are safer.
Reuse an existing Shopify customer when possible or create one from the Etsy order while keeping that order's shipping address specific to the order.
Choose Etsy-primary, Shopify-primary, two-way fulfillment sync, or leave automatic fulfillment sync off.
BUILT FOR REAL SELLERS
Use custom Shopify lines when the Etsy item is unique, personalized, or simply does not belong in permanent Shopify inventory.
Match Etsy items to existing Shopify variants when inventory and catalog identity matter.
Use both approaches across the same business without forcing every order through the same product model.
AFTER THE IMPORT
The Dashboard is for work that needs attention. History and audit tools stay available when you need to look back.
Orders that still need a decision live on the Dashboard Review Queue. Once reviewed, they fall off the queue. Your selected sort order is remembered when you come back.
Scan prior paid Etsy orders when you need to catch up. Unimported catch-up orders stay temporary, can be cleared, and can be rediscovered later. Only catch-up orders actually imported into Shopify become permanent order history.
Normal orders are tracked from your Channels activation forward, while older catch-up orders join history only after import. View the last 7, 14, or 30 days, 3, 6, or 12 months, all history, or a custom date range.
The Audit Log explains actions in plain language first, with technical details available only when you actually need them for troubleshooting.
